Welcome to the
Village of McBride FoodCycler Pilot Program
The Village of McBride is excited to announce the launch of the FoodCycler Pilot Program.
The information gathered will help determine whether a broader rollout could benefit the community in the future.
*Non-Resident are those who live in the Robson Valley but reside outside Village boundaries and do not pay property taxes to the Village.
The FoodCycler is a countertop organic waste processor. This appliance uses a combination of grinding, heating, and aeration to break down organic waste in just a few hours, reducing its volume by up to 90%. This results in a more manageable and environmentally friendly product that can be used in gardens or as soil enrichment.
