Connecting to village water supply  usually requires an accessible water pipe from the street, which needs to be extended to your new property. The process involves not only the initial connection fee but also ongoing charges for water usage. The reliability and quality of village water supply can vary by location, so it’s important to research the local water services. Additionally, some regions may have water usage restrictions or additional regulations that could affect your decision.

The storm sewer system is separate from the sanitary sewer system. Specifically, the storm sewer system is designed to drain the water from the roads, sidewalks, and other surfaces that fall as part of precipitation during rainstorms. This water on the surface is collectively known as runoff. Runoff enters into the storm sewer system via drop inlets and curb inlets in the street and drops down into another network of subsurface pipes, known as the storm sewer system.
