Council Meetings
Regular Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Members of the public may attend meetings in-person or virtually via Zoom. To attend a Council meeting virtually, email mcbride@mcbride.ca to request a Zoom meeting link before 4:00 p.m. of the meeting day. Only those who have requested a Zoom meeting link and who have their name displayed during the Council Meeting will be admitted.
Safety measures will be in place for in-person attendance, face coverings are not required but recommended, and room capacity is restricted to a maximum of 20 people, entry will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, after Councillors, Village Staff, Delegations & Press.
Pertaining only to items on the agenda, all questions will be addressed by Council at the Opening Meeting. Questions submitted by public and press attending the Council meeting in person will be received on the sign-up sheet until 7:00 p.m., when the meeting is called to order. For those members of the public and press attending virtually, questions will be received until 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting by email at mcbride@mcbride.ca. In Accordance with Council Procedure Bylaw #717, questions that do not pertain to agenda items can be submitted at any time to the Village Office.
If Community members or groups would like to make a presentation to Council, delegation forms can be found here, and must be submitted to the Village Office by 4:30 pm on the Tuesday before the Council meeting.
