Community Futures Fraser Fort George is hosing a workshop:
There are a number of new legislative changes that have opened up opportunities for the local cannabis producers. One of these changes is the opportunity for farm-gate sales which, will open up new opportunities such as cannabis farm tours (paralleling wine tours and brewery tours). Plus, there are several other legislative changes that have the BC Craft Farmers Co-op representatives coming to Prince George to share with interested businesses, economic development offices, local governments, First Nation governments, etc.
With this, Community Futures Fraser Fort George is supporting the BC Craft Farmers Co-op with their endeavours to educate us and interested parties on this emerging market. The roundtable will be offered in-person and via Zoom.
