Public Warning for Potential Boil Water Advisory
Cold spring weather over the past month has transitioned to climbing temperatures over the past several days increasing snowmelt rates.
Temperatures are expected to continue to rise, resulting in continued snowmelt and run-off. This situation is already starting to create fluctuating Turbidity levels at the Village’s water intake system due to the seasonal freshet (snow melt).
The Village is advising the Public to prepare for a Potential Boil Water Advisory in the next few weeks or sooner depending on weather conditions.
The Village will keep the community updated at mcbride.ca/news and the Village Facebook page. If there is an actual Boil Water Advisory, a notice will be delivered to every home and/or business.
