Bylaw Officer Supervisor
The Village of McBride is pleased to announce that Pete Berndsen will be joining the Village of McBride’s Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) as a Bylaw Officer Supervisor starting on April 2, 2020.
Pete will be working with the Village’s Emergency Management team to support both Minister Farnworth, Public Safety and Solicitor General’s ministerial orders and Dr. Bonnie Henry, Provincial Health Officer’s recommendations and orders during this period of COVID-19 pandemic.
Pete’s extensive experience working with the RCMP for almost 40 years will be a great benefit to this temporary Bylaw Officer role. Pete is well known in the Robson Valley and will offer much needed support during these challenging and unprecedented times.
Bylaw Officer, Pete Berndsen, will be available 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday to assist and support the Village of McBride’s EOC, businesses and community members. Please join the Village’s Mayor, Council and Staff in welcoming Pete!
