The Village of McBride Spirit of BC Community Committee in cooperation with many organizations in town will be hosting an evening event to celebrate this once in a lifetime event.
PAINT THE TOWN RED FOR THE ARRIVAL OF THE OLYMPIC TORCH
and cheer on local community members who were selected by Coca-Cola and RBC as official Olympic Torch Bearers
A program of events will take place prior to the arrival of the Olympic Torch. The events will celebrate arts, culture and sports and will highlight the youth in our community.

Dress in Red and join with friends and community members to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic Torch and the Relay through McBride.

The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay Community Event was funded entirely through a grant application. There was no cost to McBride taxpayers for this event.
